Geriatric Medicine
Dr. Raskin is an expert provider in the field of geriatric medicine. Our staff is known for a compassionate approach that many older patients find reassuring. With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Raskin is equipped to handle a broad range of health challenges facing the geriatric population. Our practice is fitted with the latest technologies to manage a range of health issues, such as vaccines and bone density tests, in-office. Additionally, we can connect patients to resources outside of our facility, such as in-home physical therapy and general home health visits.
In conjunction with his practice, Dr. Raskin also services local hospice and nursing homes. He is acting medical director of Mid Valley Hospice, an outstanding and compassionate center offering end of life care, comfort care, and general senior care services. He is also medical director of two local nursing homes in the Santa Monica area: Fireside Health Care Center and Good Shepherd Health Care Center. Additionally, Dr. Raskin sees memory-impaired patients at two local Meridian senior living facilities, Bella Mar and Ocean Villa, both of which specialize in helping patients with Alzheimer’s disease.
